After being a special education teacher for 25 years, working in private psych facilities (Charter Hospitals) and for the Department of Corrections, I decided to become a full-time massage therapist.
Like some other SET therapists, I became aware of Structural Energetic Therapy after being part of a seminar on carpal tunnel syndrome. After several tries by a neuromuscular massage therapist to clear up an old injury of mine, at the carpal tunnel seminar (by Don McCann, the founder of SET), my injury vanished, never to return. I was so impressed with the results I decided to learn SET and make it my career.
Below are listed some of my accomplishments that deal with the work I now do with people, horses, dogs and cats:
- 2/20/1987 Graduated from Suncoast School of Massage MA0007678
- 7/24/2005 Completed 20 hours (level 1) Healing Touch Program
- 6/10/2008 Completed the 2 year program for Advanced Structural Energetic Therapy as taught by Don Mcann
- 6/4/2008 Completed apprentice program for Equine Therapeutic Bodywork under Diane Malony, Certificate Equine Therapeutic Bodyworker. This training has allowed me to work on horses, dogs and cats.
- 11/2/2008 Completed the Basic Quantum Touch workshop.
- 9/8/2009 Completed SET Certification
- 6/11/2010 Completed advanced training in Emotional Energy Release Therapy used to release pain energetically from the body as taught by Don McCann.
